How To Draw Cartoon

I studied at Indonesian Institute Of The Arts

Okey..

First you should Choose or riset what you want make a character. example, me want to draw Mentawai tribe in Indonesia , so i should riset how Mentawai tribe have a traditional cloth, habit or things are characteristic of the Mentawai tribe

why i choose Mentawai Tribe? cause, i think this tribe have a something unic 

I've been search photo of Mentawai tribe, and then we should skecth  I use software Paint tool Sai

here we have to highlight the characteristics of the Mentawai tribe

after that, we have to clean up the lines

u used pen at Sai

then we will color the characters according to the traditional clothing of the Mentawai tribe

taraa finish, if you want to draw the side view, front and back

I will explain how on my next blog
